PRISM (Pride. Respect. Inspiration. Safety. Mentoring.) was created as an outreach program for the LGBTQ+ youth, ages 13-25, of Beaver County. Our intention is to be a safe and supportive place for the LGBTQ+, friends, families and allies of the local community. A space online, and in person, to address the issues, challenges and triumphs of local LGBTQ+ youth. You may be struggling to find your voice or yourself. You may not know where to turn, or who to turn to.

It is our goal:

  •       To be a group of people, who you feel safe enough with, to be yourself and love yourself.

  •       To promote and plan socializing with your peers, allies, and others who may have been where you are           now.

  •       To help us all foster understanding and acceptance, by giving back to each other and our local                         community. To inspire you to be a positive influence on the lives of those around you.

  •       To make sure you know that you matter, and to reassure you to that there are people that care.

  •       To provide, or help find, the resources and support that you may need at this time.

  •       To listen to you when you need to talk.

  •       To help in any way we can to make sure your voice is heard and your needs are addressed.

  •        To be an advocate and a voice for you.

  •        To assist schools and organizations to become more inclusive.
